Thanks for checking out my “Hunger Games Task Cards!” These cards offer practice with identifying main ideas and synonyms (or antonyms) for vocabulary words using the popular text The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins.
Set includes 24 task cards, each with a quoted section from the book. Students are to identify the main idea of the passage, record it on the included student sheet, and then identify either synonyms or antonyms for the bold/underlined words. Keep these as an “early finish” activity, whole class bellwork before class, or as a workshop assignment. Store these in a Ziplock, laminate and keep on a binder ring, or use a photo album from a dollar store. Laminate for durabiltiy.
This task card set is intended for a single use classroom. If you would like to share with a colleague, please direct them to my TpT store, or purchase an additional license for them at a discounted price. Positive feedback is welcomed. Follow my TpT store and my Facebook page for more updates and freebies.
