Please find included a 70 question video guide to accompany a student's viewing of Taika Waititi's "Hunt for the Wilder People". Students will answer questions to test their comprehension of the film and periodically be asked to answer response questions. Questions are in a block format and are not separated out by days. I usually show 15-20 minutes of the film and then stop and engage the students in response questions. "Hunt for the Wilder People" is a wonderful coming of age story. If you are teaching the book by Barry Crump "Wild Pork and Watercress", this film is a must. I enjoy to show this film before break or after a difficult unit because it's enjoyable, light hearted, accessible, but yet engages the students on a personal level. I hope that these questions engage your students' attention and facilitate discussion of the film.
