This is a set of multiple choice task cards. Each task card has a multiple choice question with three to four choices. Students mark their answer on the answer document, then scan the QR code to check their answer. The QR Code leads them to a plain text answer where they check to see if they were correct. Because it does not require a large amount of reading, iPod Touch units work fine as well as iPads or iPad minis.
There are a total of 20 task cards which can be used as a station while other students explore the same topic in other ways, as an early finisher activity or as an enrichment activity.
These could be used either for review after the material has been taught or as a research guide to have students look for the answers before scanning the QR code in textbooks, Encyclopedias, etc. These would also be a great test review--Louisiana GLEs are included in the file aligned to iLEAP.
