This Nova special is an amazing look at many different elements and their properties. Some of the prepared activities are not accessible to some students.
This Cornell Note guide helps give students something to connect with as the movie runs through the sections. Cornell Notes also help students keep to the AVID program.
The notes are broken up into sections by the different location and information shared by the movie. This lends itself for higher-level students to write an in depth summary of the movie. Space for Costas Questions are left blank, to encourage students to write probable question.
A fill in the blank version is for students who may need encouragement and focus. These sheets are designed for ease of reading with more space and larger fonts for students.
Either strategy can be used with students for any student in your class.
Materials: 1 Copy of the guide you choose for every student of the class (7 pages for questions and summary only, 8 pages for fill in the blank, questions, and summary) ** strongly suggest printing front to back**
