In memory of the 10th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, students will complete an Oral History Project. This project is a great way for students to get insight into their families lives during Hurricane Katrina. Students choose a family member or friend to interview and then create a presentation of their choice to show off their information. I use this project while reading The Ninth Ward by Jewell Parker Rhodes
