This research assignment allows for students to research two of the most fascinating and destructive forms of weather: Hurricanes and Tornadoes.
It is important to know about these forms of weather, their similarities and differences, and how they affect those that have/will experience them.
Watch as your students begin to filter into class informing your about what they discovered while researching. They will find the facts, statistics, and the stories of these storms to be interesting and still academic.
This lesson meets several 4th and 5th grade common core standards for research, ELA- written work, nonfiction reading. Etc.
