Product Description
I wrote this little song as a way to teach 3-5-year-olds how to “mirror” one another when I noted how many children were having difficulty understanding where to look and what to do during simultaneous imitation activities. Since this is such an important pedagogical tool in the Orff approach, I tackled the problem head-on with this little song and the following procedure. The song itself is in C doh pentatonic. Use this as a starting point and gradually raise the pitch until the children are singing in their head voices.

Assessment criteria:
Understanding how to simultaneously imitate another human being’s actions.
