Thanksgiving is one of the best times of the year. What a better way to celebrate the ideas of Thanksgiving, by having your students write about what they are thankful for. This is an excellent opportunity to discuss and share what being thankful truly means.
In this writing activity:
1-Thankful for Ideas Page- Students color the different pictures of things they are thankful for
2-Thankful For Graphic Organizer- Students choose three things they are most thankful for, and add 3 details to each idea.
3-Rough Draft Sheets- Pages for students to draft their writing
4-Final Draft Sheets- Publishing pages for final writing pieces to be written on
5-Rubric- Students can use the rubric to understand the expectations as well as the teacher can use it to grade the writing
