It’s the time of year to be thankful! Students can be thankful while practicing their writing skills
You have many choices for how you can use this activity! The choices of lines allow you to adapt or differentiate this activity as you would like for your students. For upper grades, write a paragraph on the plain lines. For primary students, write a sentence on the handwriting paper or draw and label a picture in the blank boxes. Leave the activity on one page. You could also have your student cut them out the boxes, glue on construction paper (or NOT!), and make a booklet. Then use the blank pages for illustrations!
My fifth grade students practiced writing paragraphs about the things they are thankful for. I gave them the choice to pick five different thankful things/people or to choose one and describe five things about that thing or person.
