I Am...Who Is is a task where students will write the vertex form of a given description. You will receive two forms of the same 50 cards. One numbered and one not. The non-numbered cards are for a full class activity. Divide the cards among your students, have ANYONE begin by reading the "Who Is' part. Students write down their answer and determine if they have the answer under "I am", if they do, they respond with the answer and read their "Who is" part. This helps to check for understanding, errors, and critiquing others work. It really brings about some really rich discussion and listening skills. this goee on until they get back to the beginning. The other form is numbered and they can work in small groups to put the cards in order. The student sheet has two forms, one set up to do in small group where they can enter the card numbers that lead to the next, the other just has blank boxes for them to write answers on to keep track.
I copied mine on colored paper and cut for small groups.
