Help your students become kinder, better friends, and generally good people. Helping students learn how to be a good friend and understand what type of behavior is and is not acceptable for friends is an important part of their social growth. This resource provides multiple opportunities to discriminate what is and is not good friend behavior.
The 10 posters can hang in your room as colorful reminders of friendship behaviors. They can also serve as a discussion point for lessons in being a good friend.
The posters focus on
• asking and listening,
• giving compliments,
• offering help,
• talking over problems,
• sharing, and more.
The 32 cards can be used in a game format (game board, pieces, and spinner provided), or can be used as clip cards for independent work. Students answer the question, "Is this what friends do?"
There is also a 23 page interactive friendship book; students learn about what a friend does and does not do.
