This poster set and bulletin board kit encourages students to "soar higher" as they strive for their best work. Each hot air balloon sports a phrase about what "we can" do together in music class: compose, sing, play instruments, arrange, evaluate, listen, dance, and more! There are posters AND brightly colored balloon cut outs to give you multiple options with the set.
Included in this set:
*Separate poster with colorful hot air balloons that say "We can"...sing on our own and with others, play instruments, compose, move and dance, read and write, play by ourselves and with others, improvise, listen to and describe music, evaluate music, and look for links between music and other subjects.
*Each statement comes as a colorful rectangular poster (easy to print and post!) or comes superimposed on a colorful hot air balloon cut out. This means that you can just "print and post" on the wall or you can print out the hot air balloons and let the statements hang on the wall as if they were floating hot air balloons.
*Banner words spell out the phrase "We are Soaring Higher In Music." Some of the words are spelled out on top of colorful blue clouds and the words "Soaring Higher" look as if they are printed on banners being pulled by propeller planes. See the preview file for an image of this.
** These could be used for daily use as an objective focus. Could be substituted for general "I Can" statements or focusing statements as the posters themselves do not say "this year" but are more general.**
