I Can Color & Write (7 colors) - 2 Pages Pre K, K, 1, Art Lesson

Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, Orange, Purple, Brown)

" I Can..." Color & Write (ROYGBIPB) is a 2 Page Printable, and is suitable for Pre K, Kinders and First Grade. It is an 8 page booklet, where the student can trace the typed color word and draw it on the line. They can also repeat the phrase "I Can Write____ (that color) " etc. after you.

The second page, the students color in the color shown in the space. It is also an 8 page booklet, where the student can use the color shown to color anything they want in the blank space. They can repeat the phrase "I Can color ____ (that color) " etc., after you.

Note: One front cover has a picture of a child where girls can add long hair to make her look feminine or whatever hair style they want. The other cover shows a child with mid length hair. Children may color on the back page when done. Perfect for morning work, centers, even art class! Choral responses for the "I Can" statement would work nicely where the students repeat the phrase "I Can Write____ " or "I Can color____ " etc. after you.

Easy to cut and fold, just cut on the outside line. Next, fold lengthwise. The cover is the first page and fold rest like an accordion, back and forth, behind it.

Note: Use of any copyrighted images, artists' photos or artwork is for students enhancement of their Art History and appreciation of Art, in accordance with Fair Use in Education. This is an original work.

I taught art to K-5 and most students were ELL. I tried to make my worksheets open ended so my art students could become a success in both Art and learning English.

You will download a ZIP file with a JPG file and a PDF file, both with 2 pages.
