Do your students get stuck when it is time to write? My student’s confidence in drawing and writing has grown by leaps and bounds by making their own foldable mini-book creations. Jump start your student’s confidence with drawing that in turn will spark their imagination and interest in writing about their own personal interests.

Inspire your kids to draw and write! Some kids love to draw but others will do anything to avoid it. Either way these simple line drawing flip-books will help your children to acquire skills of representation. Drawing facilitates ideas and these themes books will encourage your kids to relate personal events, report opinions, explain information, describe, and retell sequenced stories.

Draw and Write includes themed vocabulary with fine motor, representational drawing, handwriting, and reading skill practice.
1. a. Flip-Books. Flip-Books can be used as a classroom resource to aid in children’s ability to represent ideas by drawing as well as help children generate writing ideas. A blank book is included so that you can easily create your own resources. See preview for ideas on how to display Flip-books.
1. b. No-Prep Alternative. Print and use themed line-drawings without any need for constructing flip-books.
2. Foldable Mini Practice Books are a fun resource for students to practice vocabulary, handwriting & representational drawing. Children love creating their own books and the included templates can be used in a variety of ways.
3. Writing paper. Give your children developmentally appropriate framed drawing area, three-lined writing area, and an alphabet model to support efficient letter formations.
4. Teaching Tips. What you can say and do to help your children get the most out of their drawing attempts. How these materials can be used to differentiate instruction and meet the needs of all your learners.

Summer Series includes five themed flip-books with eight simple line drawings in each book.
• Summer: Summer scene, flowers, ice cream, tree, popsicle, sand toys, sail boat, and fish.
• Home: Kitchen, apartment building, house, key, tub, refrigerator, oven, and bed.
• Pets: Pet scene, bird, dog, mouse, fish, rabbit, dog walking, and cat.
• Fruit: Basket of fruit, pear, banana, lemon, apple, apple core, grapes, and watermelon.
• Family: Play, walk, work, fish, read, hold, stir, and carry.

Quality: Drawings are hand-drawn with small imperfections to help children accept their own imperfect drawings as just right!
