I use this form to review and re-mediate concepts on which students did not demonstrate mastery on an assessment. Rather than tell the student what mistake was made, students are required to analyze their own work to discover the error. Then, students must complete the problem correctly. Sometimes I assign corrections as a requirement following an assessment and sometimes I have students complete it to earn points back on an assessment once mastery of the concepts is demonstrated. I typically give students up to half the points they missed if they correctly identify their errors and complete the problems accurately.
