One of the most important reading strategies/skills is to make inferences. This is an excellent activity for students to practice their inferring skills. Students will create an I Can Infer Picture Book that allows for creativity and fun while proving an overall understanding of making inferences.
Students will find 10 pictures of their choice (the funnier or more unique the better). They will then create 2 inference statements for each photograph. All of this will then be organized into a neatly designed picture book to be handed in for an activity grade.
