This is a set of "I Can" statements based on TEKS guidelines for Spanish language arts, found here: http://ritter.tea.state.tx.us/rules/tac/chapter110/index.html
Each 8" x 10" page has two "I Can" statements, which are color-coded as follows:
Purple: Writing skills, including using punctuation and expressing oneself in writing
Pink: Written language, including decoding short words and illustrated instructions
Green: Oral language skills, including decoding spoken words
Yellow: Basic language skills, such as writing one’s own name
Blue: Response to literature, including analysis and appreciation
In all, there are 44 "I Can" statements for the bilingual Spanish-English kindergarten classroom.
