CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RF.K.2d - Isolate and pronounce the initial, medial vowel, and final sounds (phonemes) in three-phoneme (consonant-vowel-consonant, or CVC) words.
For best usage, please laminate. This can be used as a teacher led small group activity. Using a dry easer board and dry easer marker or even a pencil and paper, read a word to the student, then the student will spell the word out by writing each letter on the dry easer or paper; if the student spells the word out correctly, the teacher will give the student a star because he/she is a super star speller. If the student spells the word out incorrectly, the teacher will give the student a happy face for trying.
