These sentence strips make a nice weekend homework assignment. They can be used to target retelling of events, increase sentence length, improved sentence structure and improved expressive communication.
This is a great tool to use with students who experience working memory deficits. Working memory deficits make it difficult to hold onto information long enough to formulate an appropriate sentence.
An added bonus is that the visual and textual cues can have a positive impact on overall intelligibility for students experiencing a combination of articulation and working memory deficits.
INCLUDES FOUR VERSIONS:
•Weekend Homework Sentence Strip Guide (When, What, Who, When Question boxes)
•WH Sentence Strip Guide (When, What, Who, When Question boxes) - can be used to supplement other classroom/therapy activities
•When, What, Who Sentence Strip Guide
•When, What Sentence Strip Guide
