Product Description
The I Can Work! program is a five-module course designed to integrate communication skills with hands-on pre-vocational training in the areas of job readiness, clerical, retail, food service, and the grocery industry. I Can Work! serves to introduce and educate young adults with special needs and who are interested in working in their community.

This is a lesson from Module 1: Job Readiness. Students learn about what a uniform is, looks like, as well as what varieties of jobs that require a uniform. This activity will teach students about different job requirements for a variety of jobs. After each step, allow time for students to fill in their answers. Wait for every student to have at least one sentence written in and then ask for students to share their answers. Really use the range of answers to help each student learn from each other and build into a group discussion. Write the students’ answers on the board so that each student can see examples or build on their answers.
