I Can't Yet Growth Mindset

I Can't Yet Growth Mindset
Product Description
Focus: Changing our negative thoughts to positive
Discuss different situations or things that we find challenging. Students to write down Things they feel that they can’t do, eg. I can’t work out fractions or I can’t ride without training wheels. Discuss with students how to overcome challenges.

Teacher: “It’s normal in life to find some things difficult, we would never be learning if everything was easy. When we try something new our brain is busy creating new neural pathways, finding a way to solve a new problem. When we keep trying, the pathways get stronger and eventually we find those ‘I can’t’ statements to be I can!”

Students then rewrite their ‘I can’t’ statements into ‘I can’t yet!’ reinforcing the concept that in order to overcome challenged we must be persistent, resilient and positive.
