This pack contains 2 sets of cards
Set 1 is the letters in a random order and
Set 2 is the letters in alphabetical order.
This fun interactive card game is a good way for learners to recognise, identify and practice their letters and sounds and associate it with an item that has the same beginning sound. This game is a big hit with my first grade class.
Have learners sit in a circle. Deal the cards out to each player one by one until there are none left. The player who has the starting card starts the game. For example "I have the starting card, who has a for apple" After they are done with it they can place their card in a pile in the middle. The student with the correct answer says "I have a for apple" and then asks the "who has..." questions that is on their card. Students continue this question and answer pattern until all of the cards have been placed in the pile in the middle and the last person read out "The end"
