Powerpoint: These are 20 vocabulary words directly from Martin Luther King's "I Have A Dream" speech. Each slide presents the word, part of speech, example sentence, image/video, and definition. This product could be used with high school aged students. Ideally, the word and pictures are shown first so that students are using their context clues in order to guess what the word means before the definition is revealed.

Quiz: This product is a series of vocabulary quizzes related to vocabulary from Martin Luther King Jr's speech "I Have a Dream". There are 20 total words taken from the speech. The first version of the quiz contains 10 multiple choice fill in the blank sentences, 4 definition matching questions, 5 parts of speech questions, and one sentence writing prompt. The second version (intended for an honors level class) contains 10 sentences with a 20-word word bank, 4 definition writing questions, 4 parts of speech questions, and one sentence writing prompt. Keys are included for both quizzes. A list of the words and their definitions is also included.
