"I have...who has...?" is a classic game that is sure to captivate all of your students at once. This game focuses on the addition of integers, both positive and negative. You can use this as a station activity, or as a fun whole class game. Pass out one card to each student. If you have cards "left over", simple pass those out to students again. If students have more than one card, they are sure to be more involved and attentive in the game, as their turn doesn't end just as they incorporate their one card into the game.
The first card in the set says "I have the first card." This student is to read this aloud and start first. The student will then ask the question on their card, which will be an addition of integers question. The student who has the solution to that question will read the answer on their card, and then ask their addition question to the class. This cycle continues on until the end of the set! The last card says the solution to the previous addition question, and then asks "Who has the first card?", announcing the end of the game.
Students absolutely love "I Have, Who Has?" math games! It is a great review activity that is fun, motivating, and brings the entire class together to correctly finish the entire card set.
This set has 40 cards. I have created the document in a way that you can print the pages back to back and have "Addition of Positive and Negative Integers" on the back of each card, as well as the order the card is in the set. This way you can easily keep your set organized and not lose cards in other "I have, who has?" sets.
