I Have... Who Has ...
An American Symbols Activity for Georgia Teachers
This activity is great to help children identify American symbols and learn information about each. I like to use it for a wrap-up to my lesson. You may have to play it twice so that all children have a turn.
Distribute cards to students. The child with the start card reads their card aloud. The student with the match reads their card next. All
students read their card as they hear their word read. Play until the
STOP card is read and the last player shouts U.S.A.!
I have my children give a fact about their symbol after they identify it. They then read the Who Has part.
