My fifth grade students who do not know their multiplication facts and my special education students love playing this game!
Practicing multiplication facts using flash cards is a great way for students to brush up on their multiplication skills, but having a game to use is much better. This "I Have Who Has" multiplication game keeps students actively engaged in their own learning process. They have so much fun playing they game they don't realize that they are actually learning. The first player reads their multiplication problem aloud and the person who has the answer reads their card aloud. Play continues until one of the players does not have any cards left. Students love playing this game inn centers and even during inside recess time.
To prepare the cards simply print out the pages on cardstock, laminate them, cut the individual cards apart, and place in a Ziploc bag. You can even make copies for students to take home and play as homework. Designed for at least 4 players but can also be used with partners or small groups.
