This "I Have...Who Has?" set includes coin combinations using all four coins (pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters) up to 50 cents.
Once you have played this game whole-group, you can add it to your math centers for children to play independently. If played in small groups at center time, one child (dealer) distributes the cards evenly among the children in the group and play proceeds as normal.
If needed, a more supportive variation of this game is "We Have... Who Has?" Instead of each student playing individually, consider pairing students who are proficient with money concepts with students who are still learning. Because the students are in pairs, they get to take a turn more often and it's a great way for stronger students to coach their peers.
