This whole group game has 24 BIG cards for little hands and features 11 colors (red, yellow, blue, green, orange, purple, black, brown, pink, gray, and white).
What a fun way to practice color recognition AS WELL as number recognition for numbers 1-5 and counting sets of objects 1-5.
As students sit in a circle, they are randomly passed out a card (depending on the number of students, some may receive more than one card). The student with the "first card" reads their card aloud. Example: I have 1 blue crayon. Who has 5 orange crayons?" The student with the next card with the correct answer reads their card aloud, and so on. Continue playing until all cards have been read. ***This game works well for non-readers as the words "I Have... Who has? "are easily memorized by the students after hearing them several times. They will also use their color identification, counting, and number recognition skills when reading their card.
This is a super fun game that can be played over and over again for review- as students get new cards each time they play!
