PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Use this game to help students practice fluency in recognizing contractions. This game focuses on the contractions “have” and “would.” Included are sets at two ability levels, allowing you to differentiate for your students’ needs.

Traditional Card Set:
- Set includes 24 game cards
- Traditional “I Have, Who Has” cards featuring contractions for the words “would” and “have.”

- Challenge “I Have, Who Has” cards featuring root phrases and contractions for the words “would” and “have.”
- Excellent for students who need a challenge in recognizing root phrases and matching them to their corresponding contractions.

Game Instructions::
- Pass out all of the cards to your students. Some students may need two cards depending on the size of your group (this can be used in small or large groups).
- Have the student begin who holds the “first card.” That student reads it aloud.
- The student with the card that answers the first card’s question then takes their turn. Students take turns reading their cards in answer to each card’s question.
- Once “the end” card is reached, the game is finished. Students can be timed.
