A fun game that gets ALL your students actively engaged in listening and speaking while reviewing over 30 examples of figurative language (including rhetorical devices): it's quick and easy to use in class.
Make one copy to cut out the rectangular pieces and pass out to students; keep one copy (uncut) for yourself as the key. Ask one student to begin by reading the QUESTION on his/her card; all students must look at their card/cards to see if they have the correct response. When they do, they read everything on their card, and another student will have the answer + the next question. The game continues until you get back to the original question.
