I use these “I have, who has” cards in my room at the VERY beginning of my fraction unit. This has become a student favorite whole-group activity. The purpose of this game is strictly for students to be able to identify the numerator and denominator.
I included numbered cards and unnumbered cards. There are 26 total cards.
If you have never played this game, shuffle the cards and pass one out to each student. The first student announces what their fraction is (“I have one-fifth”) and then they will ask the question (“who has 2/3?”). The game continues until every student has read their card.
