This is an “I Have Who Has” game centered around the topic of homophones. (I Have Who Has games are also referred to as looping games or wrap-around games.)
My class enjoys playing this for review, and they have fun learning!
To play, choose a student to go first, and have him/her read his/her card aloud. The student who has the card with the word in question then reads that answer aloud: “I have __.” This student will then read the question at the bottom of his/her card: “Who has ___?” Then the student with the card that answers the question responds. Every card in the set is connected to a card before it and a card after it. To keep the game moving at a quick pace, all students need to pay close attention to every question that’s asked!
Play continues in this manner until all of the cards have been played.
Pages included are as follows:
-12 pages of homophone I Have Who Has cards (total of 48 cards)
Homophones Included on the cards are as follows:
to, two, too
their, there, they’re
I hope you enjoy the game and it will be helpful and fun for you and your students!
