This is a simple yet fun and engaging game for reviewing and practicing the interpretation of metaphors! Each student gets one card. On their card there is an explanation for someone else's metaphor as well as their own metaphor. Keep students engaged for the entirety of the game by having them give a thumbs up/thumbs down to show whether or not they are in agreement with each student's response.
This product consists of 30 completed cards. I've also included one template page. While this is not an editable download, you are able to print the template page and handwrite more cards if you have more than 30 students. If you do so, make sure your card matches the final card in the set.
If you need an answer key, just print your own personal copy of the product. The order of the cards flows from left to right and top to bottom.
I'm so excited to share this with you! Please, be sure to leave feedback!
