The Math Loop is similar to the well-known game "I Have... Who Has..." and is often used as a Math warm-up activity to develop and work on students' mental math skills. In addition, it is a good indicator to assess students' ability to pay attention, follow along with group activities, participate in learning and cooperatively work with others.
This particular Math Loop focuses on multiplication and division and includes the following vocabulary: times, divided by, sum, plus, minus, double, half and value. Numbers range from 1 to 93 and mental math equations practice addition, multiplication, subtraction and division strategies. More advanced terminology is included such as squared and two calculations are necessary in some cases.
Included in this document:

**I have found that students are able to follow the "Math Loop" best when cards are simple and without too many colours and graphics to distract them. Because of this, all my Math Loops have simple borders, large-ish font and the same picture on each card.
This is also helpful for teachers when sorting Math Loops, or if cards go missing; each Math Loop in my store will always have its own, unique image on it.**
Please note that this "Math Loop" is also available in my "I Have... Who Has... BUNDLE" linked below. This bundle includes 6 different activities, so be sure to check it out before you consider purchasing just this one.
