I HAVE/WHO HAS game for multiplicative comparison.

Print the pages on card stock or laminate and cut out for multiple uses.

Pass out the cards to individual students or use as a station game. Students will start with the card that says "I have the first card" and find the correct sequence of cards matching the comparison sentence to the equation until they reach the final card.

This is a great way to prepare students for multiplication word problems!

Log in to see state-specific standards (only available in the US).
Interpret a multiplication equation as a comparison, e.g., interpret 35 = 5 × 7 as a statement that 35 is 5 times as many as 7 and 7 times as many as 5. Represent verbal statements of multiplicative comparisons as multiplication equations.
