Using the basic rules of "I Have, Who Has?", these 3 games incorporate skills of understanding place value from 0-999,999. It can be used as a whole group activity or modified to be used with a smaller group.
Each game gets progressively more difficult, requiring students to listen for greater place value concepts with a mix of 0-999,999.
Students will use their listening and processing skills to listen for their matching place value clue to be read in order to respond and read their own card aloud.
In my experience, students love this activity! It is a great use of formative assessment and a way to get students excited about sharing their new knowledge. It is also a good activity to send home for parents to use when helping their child on place value. Laminated cards act as a tool for finding the next corresponding card in a game of review.
