This is a great whole class warm up activity for a class for 24 or 25 students. Students work on number identification, 1 to 1 counting and associating number names with a collection.
HOW TO PLAY:
All students sit in a circle and receive one card. They must count and remember how many dots are on their card. The teacher (or a student if in a class of 25) begins by saying "I have the starting card, who has 8 (the number at the bottom of their card). The student who has 8 will then call out and say "I have 8, who has 3" and so on. The game continues until each number has been called and you return to the starting card.
The cards are perfect for different abilities, with some cards only using single digit numbers and some going beyond 20.
