"I have, Who has" is a fun game that can be used to reinforces almost any skill, and the kids LOVE to play it!
This version of "I have, who has" focuses on reading words that contain the r-controlled vowel sound, /ur/, spelled er, ir, and ur
Distribute all 24 cards to students. Some students may have more than one card.
Have the student who has the "I have the first card!" card begin by reading their card, "I have the first card! Who has ____?" (Alternatively, the teacher can read the first card.) Students will have to read the word on their card to know when it is their turn to read. Whichever student has the next card will read theirs, 'I have ___, who has ___?" The game continues until the last student reads their card, "I have the last card!"
This is a fun game that keeps everyone engaged! Just print the game on cardstock, laminate for durability, cut the cards apart, and play!
