This free product is allows students to play the classic, "I Have, Who Has..." game to practice reading decimal numbers to the thousandths place. All cards in this game are differentiated with small stars in the upper left hand corner, so you can easily pass out more challenging cards to higher level students, on-level cards to on-level students, and below-level cards to below-level students.
When I use this game in my classroom, I have each student write down each decimal number as they hear them on a personal dry erase board. This way, everyone is engaged, rather than just the two students asking and answering. After an appropriate amount of wait time, if no one has answered the question, the class can work as a team to find the correct card.
This game is tremendously helpful when it comes to students gaining confidence in reading decimal numbers. Not only are students receiving great practice, they are also having fun! With many different levels in a classroom, I find it enjoyable to perform activities in which everyone is involved and everyone can succeed, rather than students always working with their normal small groups. Again, all cards are leveled, so you may give students exactly what they need extra practice with.
I truly hope you and your students enjoy this product. Please let me know if you have any questions or feedback! Thank you so much!!
