I Have, Who Has is a great music game for the whole class to participate in! This set includes rhythm cards for up to 30 players, as well as 3 blank cards to replace any cards that may get lost.
How to Play: Cards are passed out at random to each student. (If you have extra cards, some students can play with two.) The student with the "Start" card goes first. The cards can be read several ways. Students can clap or play the rhythms, or they can count them using rhythmic counting syllables. Cards are read from top to bottom. Students listen for their top rhythm to be read by another student, and then they respond by reading their card top to bottom. The game ends once the student with the "End" card has finished reading.
You can use this game as a timed competition between classes, or you can challenge each class to beat their own time!
These rhythm sets include: eighth note pairs, quarter notes, quarter rest, half notes, dotted half notes, whole notes, sixteenth notes, and eighth/sixteenth groupings.
