This is one my of my first graders favorite sight word games! The I Have, Who Has game can be played in small groups, centers and whole group situations.
Each card set includes 10 Fry sight words...but wait! I also included "connector cards" to bridge two sets together. For example, if you take out the final card from the 231-240 set and the start card from 241-250, replace it with the connector and you now have cards for 21 players. Connector cards have icons from both word sets for easy sorting.
How to play:
Pass out all the cards. The student with "I have start. Who has...?" starts the game. Students must listen for the "who has" word. If their word is said, they read the card to continue the game. Once the "We are finished" card is read, the game is over.
A game could go like this:
Student 1: "I have start. Who has it?"
Student 2: "I have it. Who has like?"
Student 3: "I have like. Who has cheese?"
Student 4: "I have cheese. We are finished!"
