Print all cards on cardstock, laminate and cut apart. Mix and deal all cards to students in small group. Place out counters such as teddy bear counters, if needed. The student with the card that has a star in the corner goes first. He reads the card and students work the simple addition or subtraction problem that is the clue for the next number. The student with that number reads their card and students work that problem to discover the next answer. Play continues until the final card is read. Then cards can be shuffled and dealt again.
