This classic "I have, who has?" is a great way to quickly review place value with decimals (to the thousandths) for your class.
Have students stand up and distribute one card to each student (or more than one, if your class size is smaller than 32 students.) Keep one for yourself. Read your card first and following each student will respond when their number matches the clue being read aloud. After reading his or her card, the student will be seated. The last student standing is declared the "winner" of this fast-paced review game.
A variation can be played in small groups, with each member receiving many cards instead of just one if your class has a hard time listening to each other in a whole-group setting. : )
This cards can be printed on colored cardstock and laminated for repeated use.
