Use this “I Have, Who Has” game to practice skills in place value of whole numbers and decimals. 20 playing cards can be downloaded containing whole numbers and decimals in which students need to determine the proper place value of the number that they “have.”
Cut along the dotted lines and provide each student with a card. The student with the “First Card” will start the game. All students need to listen to the speaker. Students will use their knowledge of the place of each number to progress the play. The game ends when the last student asks “Who Has…The First Card.” Print a second uncut copy of the PowerPoint slides for yourself to use as a guide.
This is a great game to play over and over! Students can switch cards to start the game over again. Or, add in kinesthetic movement by having students sit on their desks until their number is called!
