I Have Who Has Word Family Card Game
Please note: This resource is also included in my Word Families Activity BUNDLE
. Please do not purchase this if you have previously purchased the bundle!
About this book:
This book contains 24 word family card sets for playing “I have... Who has?” with children in Preschool, Kindergarten (Prep) and Grade 1. The game can be played by set or continued from one set to the next.
Directions for use:
To prepare the cards for use, print them out, laminate them for durability and cut along the dashed lines. PLEASE NOTE: There is a page at the end of each set joining it to the following set. Print that page ONLY if you wish to combine the sets, otherwise DO NOT print that page.
Game Play: This game is best played with the same number of children as there are cards, or with half the number of children as cards, in which case children will be receiving two cards instead of only one. The cards are divided between the children, each child receiving one or more cards. The child with the first card begins by saying: “I have the first card. Who has... (word at the bottom of the card).” The child with the same word responds, “I have... (word on card)” and then asks, “Who has... (word at the bottom of the card)?” Game play continues until all the cards have been used up.
