Need practice with graphing ordered pairs on 4 quadrant grid? Then this 18 (plus 2 blanks in case you ever need them) card 'I Have/Who Has?' activity is exactly what you want. The connected ordered pairs illustrate an outline of the state of TEXAS.
18 I Have/Who Has? cards
¼ inch grid paper
Student response sheet
Response sheet and grid both with solution
(1) Distribute ALL cards
(2) Distribute ¼ inch grid paper and student response sheet to each student
(3) Select a start student.
(4) Start student begins by reading their entire card to the class.
(5) Student with the correct response to the start student reads their I Have statement and the graphing directions to the class. When class has had time to record the information in the chart on their response sheet, student reads their Who Has section of their card.
Activity continues until a Who Has statement leads back to the start student.
Students should now have all the information to complete their response sheet. (could be done out of class)
