This I Have Who Has game is unique to any other place value I Have Who Has on TPT because it requires students to identify the number using base ten, but also listen for their number using the vocabulary ____ groups of ten and ____ ones.
I Have Who Has games are a fun way to practice skills in the classroom. They are great for review, test prep, fluency, listening skills, mental math, and rainy day recess!
This place value game is aligned with Common Core State Standards. It focuses on CC.1. NBT.B.2.
This particular game provides 24 cards. Pass out one card to each student. Depending on your class size, students may share a card or students may have more than one card.
The student who has the card that says "I have the first card" will read first. The student who has the answer to the problem will say, "I have ___, who has ___?" The game continues until you reach the card that says "I have the last card!" This game provides numbers 0-30.
As students get practice with the format of the game, students can play again. I encourage my students to race against their time by setting a time! This requires extra attention and team work!
