Students will analyze parts of the “I Have a Dream” speech, research the historical situations and conditions related to the dream. They will summarize their historical findings in a jigsaw presentation to the class, followed by all students writing their own conclusion paper on whether Martin Luther King, Jr.’s dreams have been achieved (comparing the historical situation with what things are like today.)
Project is offered in two formats:
1. A jigsaw presentation, where students will work in small groups before presenting their findings to the class. Individually, students complete the conclusion Section.
2. An individual multimedia project, with conclusion section.
Both projects are print-and-go ready
