"I Have...Who Has?" games are circular games that (using the materials in this pack) involve up 24 students. These games are a fun way to practice skills while also working together as a class.
Here's How You Play "I Have...Who Has?" games:
Copy, laminate, and cut out one set of 24 cards before playing a game.
1. Pass out the cards to your students so that everyone has at least one card.
2. Choose a student to start the game. (Note: because the game is circular, you can start with any student and with any card.) That student reads his or her card out loud to the class.
“I have 9. Who has 4+4?”
3. The other students then look at their cards to see if they are the person who has the card with the answer to the question that the first student asked. The student who has the card being sought then reads his or her card out loud.
“I have 8, who has 6+6?”
4. The game continues until you get back to the person who began the game and all of the cards have been used.
In my classroom, I usually have my students work on one game each week. We play every morning and keep track of and try to improve upon our time. They love trying to beat the clock!
