Updated to include EDITABLE VERSIONS! You need either Microsoft Powerpoint or Publisher for editing. The original file is still a PDF document so it should be easy to print and use! I've also included some new formats depending on if you want to print in color or black or white.

This is a fun library media center orientation activity to use with students to review library terms, rules and procedures. It works best with students in 3rd through 5th grade. I use it during the first week of media classes with my students and the students are really engaged! I hope you enjoy this freebie and find it enjoyable and helpful!

Included are 26 “I Have…Who Has…” cards that can be printed off (I print on cardstock), cut apart and laminated if you wish. Three of the questions (“How many books may be checked out?”, “How long can books be checked out?”, “What is the name of your Media Specialist?” have a space for you to fill in your answers, since they will vary. I also created 2 blank cards if you want to include some more questions.

How to Play:

Give each student one of the cards. If you have more cards than students you can give the extra cards to any willing students (most students are more than willing to have an extra card!). The student who has the card that actually says "I have the first card" reads the card out loud. All students look at their card to see if they have the answer to the first student's question. The student who has the correct answer then reads their card out loud and play continues from there. The answer key is included so you can follow along as the game is being played and be able to help a student who is stuck on an answer.
